May Aquatic Fitness Programs 2It’s almost summer time! We will be transitioning to summer operations May 23. Leisure-side programs are being offered before 10:30 am and after 5:30 pm to accommodate our busy summer schedule.

Aqua Yoga (Monday / Wednesday)
8-9 am

Aqua Yoga utilizes the principles and movements of hatha yoga and adapts them to the water. The yoga poses practiced in this class will help you develop strength and static balance, as well as, increase your range of motion. Beginners are welcome! Instructor: Thea Vincenti

Morning Fit (Monday / Wednesday)

This shallow water workout combines calisthenics style movements with variations of upper and lower body resistance exercises. You will jog, kick, march and jump through the water to improve your cardiovascular fitness, muscular endurance, and flexibility.

This warm water exercise program is designed for individuals with arthritic and mobility limitations. This class is for you if your goals include increasing strength, flexibility, and range of motion in a relaxing and low impact atmosphere.
Location: Therapy Pool. Instructor: Danielle Bland
Max. Enrollment: 10
Due to limited spacing and class popularity, we are limiting one session of Warm Water Workout per person per month.

Rolling in the Deep (Tuesday / Thursday)

Strap on an aqua belt and join us for a deep water class in the competition pool! Expect to perform aerobic exercises such as jogging, skiing, and more to develop core strength!

An aqua class guaranteed to get the fitness party started! This class combines cardiovascular training and muscle conditioning through methods of interval training, abdominal work, and muscle enduring activities. Rise N ‘Shine Water Aerobics (Wednesday)

Gear up for this morning class that will get you ready for the day! An aerobics class for the early risers so you can kick off your day energized.

Mission SWimpossible… (Wednesday)

Start this new year off right with incorporating new exercises into your water routine! This workout will consist of dryland workouts and water workouts — lap swimming, treading, core work on the walls and more. There are modifications for all fitness levels! Guaranteed to hit all the right muscles and have you ready to conquer the rest of 2022! * Please bring your own mat or extra towel for the deck exercise portion if wanted.
Location: Competition Pool. Instructor: Jilliann Kowalcik * Two participants per lane.

An assortment of cardio based aquatic exercise formats with progressions and modifications suitable for all fitness levels. Increase your fitness as you challenge yourself to be the best you in 2022!

H2O Functional Fitness (Friday)
10: 30-11: 30 am

$ 15 R / $ 20 N
Motion is lotion for your joints! Increase functional movement for everyday life. Warm water workout targeting strength, flexibility, and balance with gentle movement.

Registration dates:
Town residents: April 19, 8:30 am
Non- residents: April 21, 8:30 am
Programs do have registration maximums. If those are met, waitlists will be available.
Please note that class participation numbers are based upon current mandates and may be altered accordingly.
